These topics are based on many different subtopics such as criminal justice, psychology, sociology, law, history, and criminology. There are different levels for this type of class for those who take it. Here is a list of the different levels.
These are the first and most basic levels of course work. They are the levels where students learn what they need to know about crime, how it works, how the legal system works, and what it takes to stop crime before it happens. The second level is the intermediate level. This level covers a wide range of psychology topics that address people as individuals and not just as part of a group. Topics include individual behavior, natural laws, attitudes, and culture. The third level is the advanced level, which covers a wide range of subjects for law school students. It can cover anything from forensic psychology to the long-term effects of trauma. Some topics that might be covered include psychology of learning and cognitive development. The next level of Psychology of Crime paper topics are the Criminology topics. These can cover any number of topics including crime and punishment, how crime works, and why it happens. Topics might include social problems that lead to crime, crime in a public school setting, and what works to change things. As students progress in their studies, they move on to the pre-med levels. They learn about the human brain, physiology, pathology, neuropsychology, and genetics. For more advanced students, they might even cover people who are mentally disabled. Students can also move on to Bioethics. This will involve a great deal of reading and discussion about how ethics are affected by different environments. They might even talk about how the environment affects animals, like fish and plants. Students might also talk about learning disabilities, autism, and how those causes the need for teaching children about these topics as well. At the highest level of course work is a dissertation. It can cover topics such as interdisciplinary topics, human rights, human evolution, or crime and punishment.
